PR14

The PR14 is a semi-automatic line designed to combine the main cheese wheel preparation and labelling stages in a single installation.

The cheese wheel is first automatically depalletised from a standard pallet, then conveyed to the banding module, which automatically applies a self-adhesive label to the side of the cheese wheel.

Thanks to a second roll, a different type of band can also be applied without removing the cheese wheel from the line, providing greater flexibility to meet different labelling requirements.

The cheese wheel is then transferred to the labelling area, where the operator selects the desired label and applies it manually to the cheese. It then passes over the weighing conveyor before being automatically palletised at the output.

The line can therefore handle the entire sequence of depalletising, banding, labelling, weighing and palletising, while retaining operator involvement for manual labelling.
