The EC1 A incorporates all the features of the EC1 cheese rind remover and adds an integrated suction and waste collection system directly at the tool. The shavings are extracted as close to the knife as possible, reducing their dispersion throughout the work area.
The suction arm consists of a tube and remains lightweight and easy to handle thanks to its large-diameter flexible hose. The arm’s articulation allows both the surface and the side of the cheese wheel to be treated in a single operation.
Two suction technologies are available: vacuum extraction or cyclonic suction. The cyclonic system provides higher suction power and allows the use of different types of containers, while the vacuum extraction version collects the waste in a 525- or 610-litre bin.
The waste collection system can be adapted to the existing infrastructure. With the cyclonic version, several configurations are possible, including connecting two cheese rind removers to a single unit.
The unit’s cover can be easily lifted, either manually using four handles or with a hoist, providing easier access to the container and simplifying emptying.
