The EC1 Chopper & Hopper Module is an accessory for the EC1-A suction-assisted cheese rind removal system, designed to simplify the collection and handling of waste generated during cheese rind removal.

The system combines a chopper directly connected to the rind removal machine, a collection hopper and a suction system. The shavings are chopped before being discharged into the collection container, making them significantly more compact.

This volume reduction increases the filling capacity by up to 400%, reducing the frequency of emptying and optimising waste management. The hopper can accommodate various types of containers, including pallet boxes with frames, bulk containers and bags.

The chopper and hopper are entirely made of stainless steel, providing a robust, stable and easy-to-maintain construction. They are connected using silicone hoses with a diameter of 70 mm.

For bag collection, an optional carousel can hold up to five 30-litre bags. This configuration simplifies handling and improves waste collection organisation.
