The MF8 is a semi-automatic machine designed for the care of small, specialised cheese batches. Its alternating operation on two turntables allows the machine to continue working while the operator loads or unloads the other turntable.
Only one operator is therefore required to handle the cheeses. The brushes move clear when a cheese wheel is changed, and the surface brush lifts automatically to facilitate the transition from one cheese to the next. The heel brush also pivots to adapt to the position of the cheese, ensuring consistent care.
The MF8 is particularly compact and easy to manoeuvre. It is mounted on four large-diameter wheels, with swivelling, lockable front wheels that facilitate movement and ensure stability once the machine is in position.
Its all-stainless-steel construction in grade 1.4301 complies with Hygienic Design requirements. The turntables, brushes and side guards can be removed without tools, while the inclined surface facilitates the drainage of smear and cleaning water.
Brush height and pressure can be easily adjusted, even during operation. Different turntables, brush types and motorisation options allow the machine to be adapted to the characteristics of the cheeses and production requirements.
With a capacity of up to 300–360 cheese wheels per hour, the MF8 offers a simple, compact and reliable solution for automating the care of small batches.
