RF5

Cheese handling robot
Autonomous robot for cheese handling, shelf loading and palletising, featuring battery-powered movement and enhanced safety.
  • Optimised handling to simplify cheese shelf loading and palletising.
  • Up to 200 cheese wheels per hour for high productivity, depending on the configuration of the cheese cellar.
  • Battery-powered movement providing high autonomy and freedom of movement.
  • Enhanced safety with front and rear laser scanners and a rear bumper, validated by an independent body.
  • Easy manoeuvring thanks to contactless guidance and motorised steering with a steering angle of over 180°.

The RF5 is a robot designed to automate cheese handling operations, from shelf loading to palletising. It is particularly suited to large cheese dairies and cheese maturers looking to reduce manual handling and optimise production flows.

Thanks to its battery-powered drive system, the RF5 offers a high degree of autonomy and can move freely along the aisles. Its contactless guidance system automatically corrects its trajectory, while its motorised steering and steering angle of over 180° facilitate manoeuvring in confined spaces.

Cheese wheel handling is optimised through detection of the actual position of the cheese board, ensuring precise handling during shelf loading and palletising operations. The robot can handle loads of up to 500 kg and perform up to 200 handling operations per hour, depending on the configuration of the cheese cellar.

Particular attention has been paid to operator safety. The RF5 is equipped with front and rear laser scanners, as well as a rear bumper. Its safety systems have been validated by an independent accredited body.

Its one-piece frame, made of mechanically welded 1.4301 stainless steel, ensures robustness and durability. Internal components are easily accessible, and parts that come into contact with the cheese can be removed without tools, simplifying cleaning, servicing and maintenance.
